52-year-old Terry Reed (of El Dorado) and 42-year-old Kenes Lajeunesse (of Jacksonville) were both fatally injured in an accident on Friday, August 10.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:25 p.m. on Highway 167 near El Dorado. Mr. Reed was driving a 2005 Freightliner south on Highway 167. Mr. Lajeunesse was driving a 2017 Freightliner north on Highway 167. Mr. Lajeunesse 18-wheeler crossed the centerline striking Mr. Reed’s semi-truck.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
