Texas Cyclist Killed in Russellville Accident with Motorcycle

An unidentified 62-year-old cyclist from Sweetwater, TX was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, April 26, 2021.

The male cyclist was traveling north along the sidewalk of State Highway 7 (N Arkansas Avenue) approaching Darby Lane when, according to the report, “[he] entered the outside northbound lane” where he was struck by a northbound motorcycle (2020 Harley Davidson).

45-year-old James Brock (Russellville, AR) and 47-year-old Charlotte Brock (Russellville, AR) were traveling on the Harley Davidson motorcycle at the time of the accident and sustained injuries in the collision.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry. Mr. and Ms. Brock were transported with injuries to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
