Highway 65 Collision Near Bee Branch Claims One Life, Injures Two

76-year-old Russell Colquette (Clinton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. Mr. Colquette was traveling south on Highway 65 near Bee Branch when his vehicle (2011 Ford Fusion) began to veer left across the center turn lane before entering the northbound lanes of traffic. Mr. Colquette’s front driver side struck the front driver side of a northbound vehicle (2016 Chevrolet Silverado) traveling in the northbound outside lane of traffic.

79-year-old Bonnie Colquette (Clinton, AR) was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.

40-year-old Jonathan McNespey (Higden, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.
