Early Morning Wreck on I-430 in Little Rock Claims 2 Lives

59-year-old Roger Chapman (Greenbrier, AR) and 31-year-old Kentray Dukes (Little Rock, AR) were fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

At approximately 4:43 a.m. Mr. Dukes was traveling north on Interstate 430 when his vehicle entered the median sideways before going through the cables, overturning and sliding across all three southbound lanes of traffic. Mr. Duke’s vehicle (2007 Lexus) landed upright in the west ditch. According to police reports, Mr. Duke then traveled one mile in the wrong direction before striking Mr. Chapman’s vehicle head-on.

Mr. Chapman was traveling south on I-430 when his vehicle (2016 Ford) was struck by Mr. Duke’s northbound vehicle near Colonel Glenn.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
