30-year-old James David Marcum (Winslow, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, June 12, 2020.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m. Mr. Marcum stepped into the lane of traffic on Interstate 49 near mile marker 28 in Crawford County attempting to hitchhike. Mr. Marcum was struck by a northbound vehicle (2018 Chrysler Pacifica).
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
