Highway 70 Wreck Claims the Life of Cotton Plant Driver

37-year-old Jade Sain (Cotton Plant, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. Ms. Sain was driving east on U.S. Highway 70 (Sportsman Drive) in Biscoe when a vehicle (2011 Kia Sportage) traveling north on Dooley Road “failed to yield the right of way” and entered Highway 70 causing Ms. Sain’s vehicle (2003 Dodge Ram) to collide with the northbound Kia vehicle.

Ms. Sain sustained fatal injures in the collision. Two additional unidentified male minors traveling in Ms. Sain’s vehicle were injured in the accident. An unidentified male minor traveling in the northbound Kia vehicle also sustained injures in the accident. Those injured were transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
