Highway 70 Wreck Claims the Life of Hot Springs Driver

29-year-old Audrea D. Booker (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

At approximately 6:47 p.m. Ms. Booker was traveling east on U.S. Highway 70 East near Lonsdale when her vehicle (2006 Ford Focus) collided with a westbound vehicle (2004 Dodge Ram) in the outside eastbound lane of the traffic. The westbound vehicle crossed the center lane before striking an eastbound vehicle (2010 Nissan Rogue) and spinning counter-clockwise into Ms. Booker’s lane of travel.

35-year-old Tommy E. Avance (Hot Springs, AR) was a passenger in Ms. Booker’s vehicle and transported with injuries. Additional injuries include 40-year-old Mihai Flueras (Hot Springs, AR) and an unidentified male minor.

Road conditions were wet and weather conditions cloudy at the time of the accident.
